First of all, I highly recommend reading Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson. I read it while in India. Greg is a climber who travels to Pakistan in an attempt to climb K2. After a failed attempt, he becomes disoriented in the mountains and ends up in a tiny Pakistani village. He forms relationships with the villagers and ends up returning to build schools in the area... anyway...
After being ourselves so close to the border of Pakistan, and after reading that book, and reading the constant news coverage of the airstrikes in Waziristan...
I really want to go there.
I'm going to start following the attacks more closely.
