Now that I have a "show" for Artwalk in Ballard in July, I have been madly throwing pots to be ready.
I am still searching for that fine line between professional looking and mass-produced looking. I want my work to be polished, consistent, skilled. But I don't want it to be boring, predictable... cookie-cutter...
That sounds good to say. But it's very hard to SHOW. Hard to make my hands do what my mind likes and wants.
But strangely, I think working in IR has been teaching me patience, attention to detail, and focus.
And with years more of practice, I may improve.
