i finished

i finished the seattle half marathon yesterday without walking, yay! it was a beautiful day, in the 40's, but sunny which is better than the sleet and rain that characterized last year's race.

when my alarm went off i almost stayed in bed, but once we started running, i remembered how fun it is to run through the streets and along lake washington with 10,000+ people! so fun. and i'm not really sore today, so i must have trained enough. something about doing clinical at harborview that makes me crave my long runs in the evening... it helps me clear my head of all the drama. but i am relieved that the race is over... now i can go back to the convenient 3 milers instead of 10 or 12 milers! i hate dark winter.
